Grey Wastes

Where: One of the Outer Planes
Type: Plane of Existence

Description

The Grey Wastes, also known as the Gray Waste of Hades, is a plane of desolation and despair, where the very essence of hope and joy is drained from those who enter. This bleak, colorless realm is an expanse of lifeless plains, empty ruins, and endless fog, casting everything in dull shades of gray. The air is thick with a pervasive sense of apathy, and the land itself seems to sap the will to live from all who traverse it. The Grey Wastes embodies the concept of entropy and stagnation, where everything eventually withers away. Souls that are cast here are slowly eroded by hopelessness, their desires and ambitions withering as they become mere shadows of their former selves. It is a place where the dead and dying find their final resting place, forever lost in the empty quiet of an existence devoid of meaning.
