Rings of Warding Bond

Wondrous Item (pair of rings), rare

Description:
Forged in pairs and bound by arcane energy, these matching silver rings shimmer with a faint protective glow. They are covered in infernal runes. When placed together, the runes read, “Bound to my will, before me to cower, forged in the flame of Unaxor’s power. Speak not love, but speak command. Obey the pact. Obey the brand.” When worn by two willing creatures, they forge a magical connection between them.

Properties:

• Once per day, one wearer of the rings can cast the Warding Bond spell on the other wearer without requiring material components.

• The spell does not use a spell slot and is cast as if by a 3rd-level spellcaster.

• The wearer who casts the spell is the caster for all mechanical purposes.

• The spell ends early if either ring is removed, or if either wearer moves to a different plane of existence.

Warding Bond (1/Day):
As an action, you can cast Warding Bond targeting the other ring wearer. For 1 hour:

• The target gains +1 to AC and saving throws.

• They have resistance to all damage.

• You take half the damage the target takes (after resistance).
